Also, used automotive tires OFF RIMS, used motor oil, RESIDENTIAL yard debris (branches for chipping up to 8 inches in diameter). All COMMERCIAL yard debris will be charged at a rate of 50.00 per ton for disposal.

All COMMERCIAL yard debris will be charged at a rate of 50.00 per ton and will have to be taken to the C & D landfill.

The Outer Banks has door-to-door trash-recyclables collection from Pine Island to Ocean Hill for a small monthly fee.

Commercial Recycling is available 8am-4:30pm Mon.-Sat. at the Currituck Transfer Station, 215 Airport Road, Maple. Accepted materials include commercial, industrial and household solid waste. For more information, call Currituck Public Works 252-232-2504.
