The One North Carolina Naturally initiative promotes and coordinates the long-term conservation of North Carolina’s threatened land and water resources.
The Office of Conservation and Community Affairs works with the Division of Natural Resources Planning and Conservation to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to manage and plan for statewide natural resource conservation. As part of these efforts, the Conservation Planning Tool is being developed to streamline the process of identifying and prioritizing the areas in North Carolina’s landscape that are essential for conservation.
Check Out the One NC Map. It is a bit slow but you can load everything from wetlands to bedrock.
